Concessions This is a 2 hour shift in the concession stand serving customers and working with the cook staff. This is an easy task, and you will be shown what to do at the start of your shift. This is also a great way to meet other soccer families as they come to the window!
Set-Up This person can show up before the games start to help get nets ready and set up flags, signs, and other items that are needed for Saturday games.
Clean-Up After the U8 division teams wrap up their games, the nets and sandbags need to be moved off the field, and field signs brought back to the concession stand. Nets and sandbags are stored against the fence and at the edge of the hill. In addition to this, the volunteer person would pick up any trash left behind and collect any items that need to be put in the lost and found. **MUST complete TWO field cleanup shifts (1 hour each) to qualify for Volunteer Fee Refund.
Field Marshal This is a 2 hour shift on the fields. You will be assigned a field( or fields) to work, and you will be keeping an eye on the spectators to ensure they are following the rules (how close to the line to sit, etc), being respectful of the refs and coaches, and showing good sportsmanship. We will provide a basic outline of behaviors that are expected, and suggestions on how to handle different situations.
End of Year Wrap Up The last day of the season when we need help putting balls away, organizing left over uniforms, and emptying team bags.
Field Lining Help line the fields! They can be lined while your child is practicing! We will provide supplies needed and show you how. It’s easy. Really. E-mail Niccole if you want to help in this way to get more details.
