Londonderry SC Express offers soccer development and playing opportunities for kids range from age 2.5 to 18. The descriptions below provide addition information on the each age grouping.

U5 This league is a mixture of children on gender-specific teams who have had some experience in the U3/U4 league, and children who have never played an organized sport. Chelsea Emery

U6 This league is a mixture of children on a gender-specific team who have had some experience in the U3/U4/U5 league, and children who have never played an organized sport. The purpose of this league is for children to learn how to move the ball around the field, work with their teammates, and build their confidence. U7 These are not coed. U7 plays a 5v5 format on a gender-specific team (1 goalie, 2 defenders, 2 forwards/offense), where players are encouraged to rotate and play all positions. Like U6, players are taught the basic skills involved in playing soccer, but getting them to play their positions is emphasized. They are taught to learn about dribbling, passing, positioning, throw ins, etc. Unlike the rest of the league, this division is not coed and boys and girls are separated in an effort to encourage the girls to build confidence and enjoy playing the game. 9-10 5v5 format (1 goalie, 2 defenders, 2 forwards/offense) 1 hour per week academy style with Mark Ruest Shorts, socks, shin guards, water bottle, outdoor soccer cleats (team shirt  provided by league) In Depth Info Emily Shuman

U9/U10 The U10 league is for children ages 8 and 9 . These are not coed teams. U11/U12

The U11/U12 division is for children ages 10 and 11 who play on a co-ed team. LSC’s goal is to create enough teams that they can play each other here in town for the duration of the season (8 games). The game format increases to 9v9 play and at this level the off-sides rule is introduced and enforced.

U13/U14 The U13/U14 division is for children ages turning 12 through 13 who play on a co-ed team in age-specific divisions against other Rec teams.
